Meet Your Instructor
- BS in Animal Science from UC Davis, a BS in Nursing from Mt. St. Mary’s College, and earned her Masters of Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner from UCLA. Melissa is a native of Los Angeles.
- Melissa started her nursing career 21 years ago working at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She then trained in skin care and began working in private practice for a plastic surgeon and a dermatologist.
- Started in Medical Aesthetics 20 years ago when it was in its infancy.
- Founder and Clinical Director of Skin Thesis, heading a team of nurse practitioners, registered nurses and physician assistants taking a holistic approach to aesthetic medicine.
- Using the latest innovations in injectables, lasers and specialized services, working closely with each patient to create customized treatment plans.
- Skin is “emotional!” It’s important to listen to your patients’ concerns and needs.
