Meet Your Instructor
Crystal Romano joined Cartessa Aesthetics with 15 years of sales and management experience in the medical device industry, 12 of which were in aesthetic devices. Crystal began her career in medical device sales in wound care with KCI. After years of success, in 2009 she decided to transition into aesthetics. Throughout her tenure, Crystal has worked for some of the most well-regarded aesthetic laser companies; Lumenis, Cutera, and InMode. Before joining the leadership team at Cartessa Aesthetics, Crystal most recently worked as a Regional Manager at Lumenis and led the sales team in the Central United States. As a Product Specialist with Lumenis, she was vastly successful with the launch of the new products SplendorX and Piqo4, previous to her management role. After her departure from Lumenis in 2019, Crystal joined Cartessa as the Vice President of Emerging Technologies, responsible for the launch and management of Subnovii, Sub-Z, Skinwave and PHYSIQ devices. Crystal earned a B.A. degree from Duquesne University.
